Annotation -

The subject provides knowledge about the status of phytopharmaceuticaůs in the current therapy and usability of drugs of this type in the treatment of various pathological conditions. It provides information on the effect of drug substances, standardized extracts that are forming part of such preparations. Attention is also paid to possible interactions with chemically unified drugs. The subject assumes knowledge of pharmacognosis, pharmacology, toxicology and pharmaceutical chemistry.
