The primary aim is to inform students about structure and function of the cell, proteosynthesis and importance of enzymes. Lectures are focused on an integration of chemical and physiological knowledge of human body (e. g. digestion and metabolism of carbohydrates). Students should be able to understand the hormonal regulation of metabolism and biochemistry of nutrition. Last update: Balínová Pavla, RNDr. (27.10.2008)
