Annotation -
The discipline is taught in the bachelor study program "Specialization in the Health Care - Public Health" in the first class. The content of the discipline is the general and special anatomy. Histology is focused on the structure of cells, tissues, and organs. It gives the overview of the development of organ systems, too. The discipline is focused on formation of the concrete concept about structure, development and function. Students should be able to aply their knowledge in clinical subjects.

Aim of the course -

The aim of the discipline is to offer the students a basic informations on the structure and function of the human body and its particular organ systems, their microscopical structure, and basic information about their development. Teaching of anatomy is integrated with histology and embryology, and also with physiology and biochemistry. It allows association between structural and functional aspects.
