Ten-week intensive Czech language course (Intermediate level) taught at the Language Department, Third Faculty of Medicine. The course is intended for the Erasmus students studying medicine or science at Charles University, Prague.

Aim of the course
The course aims at facilitating the students´ study in the Czech Republic at the Intermediate level (after having achieved some preceding basic knowledge of Czech). It focuses on Intermediate Czech Language for Foreigners - vocabulary and grammar, further promoting student´s communication skills. At the end of the course students will be able to actively use the basic vocabulary in the field of science and medicine. The course includes also some topics of historical and cultural background.

Requirements to the exam
Written test on the topics covered in the course, held in the last week of instruction;
and an oral Colloquium in case the student´s home university may require the graded examination.
