Annotation -
This course is established for students of 4th year. It brings some basic information about the causes of pulmonary system occupational diseases, their origin, development, diagnosis, therapy and prevention. The important part of this course is to inform students about assessment of disease seriousness and its notification.

Aim of the course -

The main task of the subject is to give students some basic information about occupational pulmonary diseases development, diagnostics, prevention and therapy. The other task is to clear up the methods of risk assessment at work and pulmonary diseases notification.

Syllabus -

The influence of work and workplace factors on the development of pulmonary system occupational diseases.Assessment of the capability for work (in consideration of respiratory diseases). Quantity of exposition assessment. Prevention of occupational diseases of pulmonary system. Pneumoconiosis, allergic diseases, carcinomas and infectious diseases.
