Annotation -
This course is designed to provide students with an advanced overview of theory, research, and professional applications in the major areas of human resource management. Topics include human resource planning, organizational staffing, social and legal environments, performance management, training and development, compensation, and employee relations.



Course content:This course builds on the basic principles of management and organizational behavior. The emphasis is on helping you be effective professionals or managers with a strong knowledge of how to select, manage and negotiate with your employees. This course examines the policies, managerial and psychological approaches and systems that influence employee behavior, attitudes and performance. It includes recruitment, selection, development, management, and employee relations.
