Annotation - Czech
The course will focus on seminal as well as recent studies in first-, second-, and foreign-language acquisition by children and adults. We will discuss the main characteristics of, differences and similarities between language learning in childhood and adulthood.
Methods: interactive lecture, discussion.

Aim of the course - Czech

Students will become familiar with main theories and approchaes in first and second language acquisition. They will come to understand the methods used in L1 and L2 research. Students will be able to evaluate critically the literature in the field.
