The goal of the subject is to master the conscious gymnastics and dance movements. Understand the patterns of correspondence between the movements and the music. Gain the basic didactic skills during the lectures of gymnastics and dance where will be shown examples of chosen gymnastics activities, characteristic rhythms and dance. Knowledge of basic gymnastics terminology will be practice.

Seminars:

1. Motor training. Body posture during the basic position and movements, movements of single body parts, performance will be accompanied by music

2. Concept (technique) of the movements. Movements performed under control by swing and by wave. Conscious and functional performance of the gymnastics and dance, done in the optimal rhythm and tempo.

3. Movement - music schooling. The basic terms of the musical theory. Gaining the basic dependence between movement and music. Variation of walk, run and dance steps. Polka steps, Waltz steps and Mazurka steps. The manipulating skills with the rope.

4. Principals of the movement - music harmony. Rhythm in the music as well as in the movements. Manipulating skills with the small ball.

5. Country dance, dance steps

6. Moravian folk dance, dance steps.

7. Dance Polka, Blues, Jive, Foxtrot
