Practical Theology Seminar 1 introduces the field of practical theology, its subject and its various disciplines.
The aim of the seminar is to learn to perceive the diverse areas of ministry in the church, to get acquainted with the current practical-theological discussion and to strengthen the ability to read and interpret various theological texts.

The structure of the seminar:
1. An Introduction to Practical Theology: The commmunication of the Gospel
2. Practical ecclesiology: What is the church?
3. Oikodomics: The community as a local church
4. Pastoral theology: The vocation and the profession of a pastor
5. Liturgics: The worship service
6. Homiletics: The sermon
7. Catechetics: Christian education
8. Poimenics: Pastoral Care
9. Hymnology: The Spiritual song
10. Diaconics: Christianly motivated service
11. Spirituality: The life from the Holy Spirit
