The aim of the course is to extend the basic knowledge in the field of prevention as one of the areas of physical activity. The main objective is to acquire knowledge and skills in the creation of prevention programs for different population groups.

Lectures:

1. Preventive medicine - current goals, possibilities of the field

2. Prevention in physiotherapy - possibilities, goals, means to support health, fitness, lifestyle, disease prevention, etc.

3. - 4. Evaluation of the importance of various factors on the health of an individual - using the principles of EBM

5. - 6. Principles of EBM and possibilities of prevention of health disorders from the point of view of physiotherapist, including evaluation of the effect of preventive programs

7. - 8. The concept of sports nutrition, specifics of sports nutrition with respect to different kinds of sports, choice of suitable foods depending on movement load

9. - 10. Drinking regime in sport, nutritional supplements, specifics of nutrition especially in selected diseases

11. - 12 Nutrition specifics in childhood, geriatrics, Nutrition specifics in pregnancy and lactation period

11. - 14. Complex intervention programs - characteristics, types, creation, realization
