A one-semester course, 2 sessions each of 90 mins per week.
The course is held in Russian, but explanations are in Czech, that is why it is not recommended for foreign students.
The course is designed for students with an entry level of Russian A1. The course aims to supplement and consolidate language skills, basic grammar, which is interpreted in Czech, and vocabulary.
All four skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking) are developed.

The course is designed especially for students who have completed a regular or CŽV course in Russian A1 at JC. For students who have not taken the A1 in JC course, the teacher will assess the appropriate entry level required during the first week of class and recommend another course if necessary.

The course content will be the textbook by S. Chernyshev: Poechali 1.2. SPb. 2019. The textbook is available in the library of the Jan Palach Faculty of Arts or can be purchased online - see literature. Selected materials will also be provided by the lecturer.

Important note: the course is not intended for complete beginners. If you want to learn Russian from scratch, you have the option to enrol in a lower course with an A1 level.
