Basic Turing’s ideas - diffusion driven instability, bifurcation of spatial patterns.

Applications in biology and medicine, in particular pigmentation of animals and angiogenesis playing a role (between others) also in a study of tumors.

Influence of unilateral sources to stability and bifurcation of stationary solutions and their interpretation in applications.

Discussion of up-to-date results.
