The aim of the course is to prepare students for paper writing. Publishing is a very important and a much sought component of the research activity. It is not only important to gain some research results but it is also very important to publish them as a contribution to a respected conference. The publication competence can be a crucial capability of a Ph. D. student. It can have a decisive impact on his/her career, i. e. it considerably influences the success of his/her Ph. D. thesis and the choice of his/her possible participation in research teams and projects.

Publishing is an important part of research work. Research is not only about getting the results, but also about being able to publish them. For doctoral students, writing papers is of very high importance.

The goal of the seminar is to introduce the writing skills.
