Students are distributed into 4 groups according to the file "seminars_dates," each student is assigned three specific dates for seminars to attend. For each seminar please prepare a short (5 minutes) but concrete talk. Content of the seminar:

  1. seminar - defense of the thesis proposal with hypotheses. What is your contribution to the research literature? What have you done on the thesis since June?
  2. seminar - detailed description of the methodology you plan to use to test your hypotheses. What have you done since the last seminar?
  3. seminar - defense of the first part of your thesis. What have you done since the last seminar? What is the detailed plan for the next semester? You must convince us that you are capable of writing a good thesis by mid-May/beg-Jan. Send the first draft of your thesis in advance.
