The goal of this course is to introduce the basic principles of cell biology (both in procaryotic and eukaryotic cells). The study of cell biology covers the range from molecules to large multicellular arrangements, such as plants or humans. Many topics are viewed in connection with biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, physiolgy, immunology etc.
