This course aims to make undergraduate students familiar with the study field of Historical Anthropology, its main concepts, research approaches and subjects of study. During the course, students should thus gain insight into this dynamic interdisciplinary research field. The course puts emphasis on shared reading and discussions of important texts in historical anthropology. In every lesson students will held presentations on selected studies and discussions will follow.

Cílem kurzu je seznámit studující bakalářských cyklů s oborem historické antropologie, jeho hlavními koncepty, badatelskými přístupy a tématy. V průběhu kurzu by tak studenti měli získat vhled do této dynamicky se rozvíjející interdisciplinárního oblasti studia. Kurz bude probíhat formou společné četby a diskuse o významných historickoantropologických textech. Na každou hodinu si vybraní referenti připraví prezentaci k vybrané studii, která bude následně diskutována.
