In the course we will work with authentic materials - we will make extensive use of Internet resources. We will also use the methods of cooperative teaching. But we will also focus on "non-interactive" work (reading excerpts from books and articles). Unless explicitly stated otherwise by the lecturer, students may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude in their home preparation. The use of AI must be declared transparently (specifying which tool was used, at what stage of preparation, and in what way). Presenting results generated by AI in their verbatim or slightly modified form as one’s own work is considered plagiarism. For more information on the use of AI at FSV UK, see the official statement of Charles University and the recommendations for students. The lecturer may use AI tools for the preparation of teaching materials and for providing feedback on student outputs, in line with the statement of Charles University and the recommendations for teachers. Any use of artificial intelligence tools will be conducted in a way that protects students’ personal data. Student work will not be used for training AI models, and personal assessment by the instructor will always complement and take precedence over AI-assisted evaluation, in order to ensure fairness and academic integrity. If a student wishes their work not to be assessed with the assistance of AI tools, they should inform the course guarantor. Last update: Přívozníková Pavla, Mgr., Ph.D. (23.01.2026)
