The aim of the practice is to provide students with the possibility of continuous and intensive insight into the teachers´s work and classroom life from the point of view of language teaching before or after the actual practice itself. This will deepen the reflection or the skills developed in the field of practice (see subject Oborová pedagogická praxe FJ – elementary and secondary school). The student, in agreement with the supervising teacher of the chosen type of school, takes care of some of his tasks and activities (preparation of materials, evaluation, individualized work with the pupil, inclusive activities, etc.) or acts as an assistant in teaching. An integral part is the shared reflection of the teacher and the student about the experience gained. Lessons learned from assistant practice are used subsequently by students and teacher in subjects Didaktika FJ II, III and IV.

Cílem praxe je poskytnout studentům možnost souvislého a intenzivního vhledu do práce učitele a života třídy z úhlu pohledu jazykového vyučování před samotnou souvislou praxí či po ní. Prohloubí se tak reflexe či dovednosti rozvíjené při praxích oborových (viz předměty Oborová pedagogická praxe FJ – základní škola a střední škola). Student se po domluvě s vedoucím učitelem na zvoleném typu školy stará o některé z jeho úkolů a aktivit (příprava materiálů, evaluace, individualizovaná práce s žákem, inkluzivní aktivity apod.) či mu je asistentem ve výuce. Nedílnou součástí je společná reflexe učitele a studenta nad získanými zkušenostmi. Poznatky z asistentské praxe jsou studenty i vyučujícím využívány v předmětech Didaktika FJ II, III a IV.

Semestrální působení v roli asistenta pedagoga v hodinách FLE. Konzultace průběhu, obsahu a rozsahu praxe s fakultním vedoucím praxí a předložení materiálů z praxe ke kontrole. Doporučení k udělení atestu od vedoucího učitele. Aktivní diskuze a sdílení zkušeností s dalšími studenty FLE na diskuzním portále.
