Subject is focused into specific areas of the didactic means and possibilites of specific types of teaching resources, known as a instructional technology or technical educational means . Its mission is to equip students with appropriate knowledge and competencies that they with their didactic knowledge from approbation fields applied in their teaching practice. The aim of subject is to acquaint students with contemporary technical means used in the education, respectively complexes, especially with interactive devices, with their basic technological characteristics, educational potential, ways of functional implementation and use of its potential in education. Thematically is the course focuses on the basic constructs of the terminology of didactic means, issues of development and implementation of teaching materials, teaching aids, respectively digital learning objects, educational aspects and the role of technical didactic means and on specific parameters of chosen contemporary technical didactic means. Considered here is mainly the area of projection equipment and presentation systems and interactive techniques, respectively. interactive whiteboards.

Předmět se orientuje do oblasti didaktických specifik a možností využití specifického druhu didaktických prostředků, označovaných jako didaktická technika nebo technické výukové prostředky. Jeho posláním je vybavit studenty příslušnými vědomostmi a kompetencemi, které mohou spolu s poznatky didaktik svých aprobačních oborů aplikovat ve své pedagogické praxi. Cílem předmětu je seznámit studenty se soudobými technickými prostředky využívanými v edukaci, resp. jejich komplexy, zejména pak s prostředky interaktivními, s jejich základními technologickými charakteristikami, edukačním potenciálem, způsoby jejich funkční implementace a využití daných možností ve vzdělávání. Tematicky se předmět zaměřuje na základní terminologické konstrukty oblasti didaktických prostředků, problematiku tvorby a implementace didaktických materiálů, učebních pomůcek, resp. digitálních výukových objektů, didaktické aspekty a funkce technických výukových prostředků a na poznání parametrů a didaktických specifik vybraných soudobých technických výukových prostředků. Uvažována je zde především oblast promítací techniky a prezentačních systémů a oblast interaktivní techniky, resp. interaktivních tabulí. Zároveň si předmět klade za cíl ukázat studentům nutnost rozvoje informační gramotnosti u žáků základních a středních škol.
