Methodology of special interest activities Subject targets: To understand a wider pedagogical-psychologist dependency of special interest activities implementation. To maintain skills and determine content, methods and forms of specific special interest activities for various age categories. Psychological basis of special interest activities: Determination of concept interest, relation of interest, requirements and abilities, the question of suitability, interests from the point of ontogenetic, role of interest and special interest activities, activities in human lifetime, factors affecting process of interest. Special interest activities in wider pedagogical context: Targets, contents, methods and forms of special interest, spontaneous and organized special interest activities, organized special interest forms of activities, ways of motivation in special interest activities, solving relationship between principles of voluntary and educational influencing. Leading in special interest formation: Special interest formation as a specific kind of social group, subject overview implementing organized special interest activities, personality of special interest activities leading person (mainly part of proficiency and social skills, social roles), structure of special interest meeting, leading tutor preparation for the meeting, participation of special interest members on preparation, realization and evaluation of activities, methods dealing with unusual educational situations, fundamental regulations and legal norms for special interest formation.

The goal of the cource is to introduce interests and free time activities,
present them as a complex of organized and free time purposeful activities
supporting the development of individuals needs, interests and abilities.
