Jakou roli může ve vztahu k ekologické krizi hrát eko-fenomenologie? Cílem kurzu bude tuto mladou větev fenomenologie a environmentální etiky představit. Vyjdeme od odlišných postojů, které vstříc stejnému problému zaujímají ekologie, ekologická filosofie (environmentální etika) a eko-fenomenologie, abychom se vzápětí pokusili načrtnout její vývoj. Pomocí vybraných myslitelů a jejich textů se od počátků eko-fenomenologie v 80. letech 20. století (Kohák, Evernden) dostaneme až k představitelům současného amerického (Abram, Toadvine, Benso) a francouzského (Latour, Afeissa, Pelluchon) ekologického myšlení.
