This course is meant to be an introduction to psychology as a scientific discipline. It covers
basic and essential knowledge from psychology disciplines: developmental psychology, social psychology,
cognitive psychology and the psychology of personality. The content of the course is structured according to
the large obligatory textbook by Kassin. The course is implemented in the form of lectures provided on specific
topics corresponding to chapters in this obligatory book. The examination has a written form.

This is Introduction to Psychology with the old code, only for those who began their studies in academic year 17/18 and 18/19 and have this course as compulsory. Therefore its on-line registration is disabled.
Students with new study plan (from academic year 19/20) have to register Introduction to psychology with code YBAJ010!!!!!!!

For the final exam students read Gleitman´s textbook :
except chapter 3 ( the Brain and the Nervous system ) 16 ( Psychopathology) and 17 (Treatment of Mental Disorders) . including Appendix 1 and 2
The exam is in form of ICQ test - options in each question. 50 questions, 30 minutes, max 100 points, minimum to pass - 50 points.
