Annotation

Tento kurz je pro studenty, kteří chodili na kurzy Beginners a Pre-Intermediate nebo jsou na začátku úrovně A2. Používáme učebnici ČESKY KROK ZA KROKEM 1 a pracujeme s lekcemi 9-24 podle aktuální potřeby studentů. Kurz probíhá formou blended learningu - jednou týdně prezenčně a další úkoly plní studenti asynchronně. Kurz NENÍ určen pro studenty na úrovni B1, B2 a výše (např. studující na české vysoké škole v českém jazyce nebo ty, kteří již podobný kurz absolvovali jinde). Docházka na prezenční část je povinná (min. 75 %). Výuka bude probíhat prezenčně, pouze v případě nečekaných událostí přejde do online prostoru. AI může být využívána jako podpora při výuce jazyka (např. k procvičování slovní zásoby, vysvětlování gramatiky a porozumění textu), nesmí však být používána k psaní domácích úkolů. This course if for students who have taken the Beginner and Pre-Intermediate courses or are the start of A2 level. We use the ČESKY KROK ZA KROKEM 1 course book and work with units 9-24 depending on current needs of the students. The lesson take place once a week face-to-face and students work on other tasks in their own time (approx. 2 hours per week). Please do not register if you study at a Czech school in the Czech language or if your level is B1 or higher. Attendance in the face-to-face classes is mandatory (minimum 75%). The course will be taught face-to-face, it will only be held online if some unforeseen events occur. AI may be used to support language learning (e.g. for vocabulary practice, grammar explanations, and reading comprehension), but it must not be used to write homework.

Course completion requirements

Pro získání atestace je nutná:

• aktivní účast - minimálně 75 % docházky, tedy 3 absence,
• odevzdání zadaných písemných prací (bude upřesněno během kurzu),
• úspěšné složení závěrečné zkoušky.

To get credit for the course, students are required to:

• attend and participate actively - attendance is mandatory, students can miss up to 3 lessons - 25% (if they miss more, they will automatically fail the course),
• do their written essays (will be specified during the semester),
• pass the final test.

Attendance is crutial to pass the course.

Komunikační metoda výuky, důraz na interakci a schopnost vyjadřování.

The instruction uses communicational method of teaching: the material is based on situations the students face, not grammatical overview of the language, with emphasis on both receptive and productive language skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing). Grammar is used functionally, as a tool to reach communicational competencies but not the core.
