Introduction to the course, assignments

2) Discussion on democracy/democracies at threat based on reading Erazim KOhak (Průvodce po demokracii) 

 

3) Discussion on sustainable development goals

 

During  the course student will become familiar with three selected topics (see above) (viz výše), and approves the gained knowledge in the portfolio (3 reports) and by  active participation in the course discussions- Every student will present a short standpoint demonstrating his/her active learning

Course completion requirements -

Presence in the lessons (80 %) and  active participation in analyzing and discussing selected topics   - compulsory reading, additional home preparation (videos, films, excursions, lectures) and submissions of reports in form of a portfolio/folder.

 

Portfolio/folder contains  3 reports:

1)reading during the course  (Kohák Průvodce po demokracii - written report, 2 pages, based on responding to 3 reading hints and questions, presented  in the  sylalbus- students selects 3 hints from the list and elaborates briefly huis/her responses

2) 1 page report analysing one selected sustainable development goal rekevant for social work

3) summary knowledge on the basic unconditional income based on reading  or film watching (1 page report demonstrating the elementary knowledge on the basic income)

4) participation in a public lecture or public event - report on 1 page
