One-semester practical workshop enabling students to get acquainted with the analysis of a Biblical text (its variants, syntex
and critical translation) and with the plurality of methods of Biblical exegesis. Prerequisities: completed courses of Biblical
Hebrew and Biblical Hebrew Reading. To have this course completed an exegetical paper is required.

Cílem předmětu je zvládnutí metodiky biblické exegeze, tedy samostatné analýzy biblických textů. Tyto texty jsou
společně rozebírány nejprve po jazykové a dále pak obsahové stránce. Součástí předmětu je uvedení do
jednotlivých exegetických „škol“, přístupů a směrů s pomocí odpovídající referenční literatury (obecně historicko-
kritická metoda a jednotlivé její 'školy', strukturální analýza, reader-response criticism, feministická exegeze,
sociálně-kritická analýza ad.).

Course completion requirements

Průběžné zpracovávání příprav a úkolů k jednotlivým lekcím. Příprava a přednes referátů k jednotlivým exegetickým „školám“ a jejich metodám. Závěrečná seminární práce, v níž je jeden ze zadaných biblických oddílů přeložen z antických jazyků (hebrejštiny a řečtiny), komplexně exegeticky analyzován a opatřen podrobným výkladovým komentářem.
