Cílem tohoto kursu je seznámit studenty se základy hermeneutiky jakožto teorie porozumění, ukázat jak se v
dějinách vyvíjela a naučit studenty interpretovat texty a umělecká díla z různých dob a různých žánrů, ukázat jak je
hermeneutika využívána ve výkladu kultury a sociální situace.
Obsahem výuky jsou:
- hermeneutika jako teorie porozumění

- dědictví Alexandrijské a Antiochejské školy
- středověký výklad Písma
- vztah Písma a Tradice v různých konfesích
- porozumění a participace v liturgii a v křesťanské duchovní tradici
- teologická interpretace ikony a západního obrazu
- zrod moderní filosofické hermeneutiky
- postmoderní kritika

- hermeneutika sociální situace
