Annotation -
The course is intended for students with a deeper interest in canoeing and recreational paddling. For international students, the course is offered as a five-day programme in Prague–Troja. In 2026, it will take place from May 25 to May 29.

Aim of the course -

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the basics of water tourism, canoeing, and rafting, with regard to their potential use in primary and secondary school settings.

  1. 100% active participation in the course in Troja.

  2. Practical proficiency in K1 kayaking – assessed through a credit (pass) run.

12:30 - 15:00 Swimming in white water, safety, and rescue

Wednesday May 27 9:00 - 14:00 Rafting R6, R2 and paddleboarding 
Thursday May 28 9:00 - 14:00 Dragon boat paddling 
Friday May 29 9:00 - 11:30 Kayak paddling (white water session WW 2) 12:30 - 15:00 Credit kayak run, course completion, and equipment clean-up.

Course fee: CZK 1000 (5 × CZK 200 – equipment rental in Troja). Payment must be made before the start of the course.
