Annotation -
Deepening of theoretical knowledge about sport training and its practical realization. Deeper understanding of selected topics from the Basics of Sports Training, supplemented with other topics that go beyond the basic idea of improving the sports performance of a person.

Lectures and seminars

1. Sport performance and its structure.

2. Seminar: Structure of sport performance.

3. Frequency of training stimuli and recovery. Construction of training unit.

4. Critical evaluation of the training concept of early specialization.

5. Seminar: Early specialization - development-oriented training.

6. Fitness training in the system of sports training. The proportion of fitness factors in the structure of sports performance. Fitness training in the annual training cycle.

7. Energy and functional basis of endurance abilities and their classification. Aerobic area. Definition of intensity, operational indicators. Deeper definition and details of uninterrupted load methods. Interval training. Application of knowledge about anaerobic threshold. Individualization of endurance training.

8. Anaerobic area: speed and short-term endurance, interval methods.

10. Strength abilities. Loading, principles of construction of strengthening methods, method-forming components.
