The subject is aimed at acquiring basic information and knowledge about other swimming sports that use the swimming pool and water environment. This subject serves as an extension to acquire skills that can be used in other sports, including swimming. In the subject, the student gets to know the basics of water polo, synchronized swimming and diving. In addition to the theory of decision-making, game management, the rules of individual sports, and training methods, the student will first of all learn about the practical use of individual movement skills and their possible transfer to the sports preparation of other sports disciplines.

The aim of the subject is to teach students to distinguish which basic skills are important for teaching water polo, diving and synchronized swimming.

By completing the subject, the student will acquire competencies that will allow him to use water polo, elements of synchronized swimming and diving for the purpose of developing physical fitness in sports other than swimming. The student will be able to use the acquired skills in the individual stages of swimming training and in the stages of swimming lessons. Studnet learns which exercises from individual sports are suitable for a given age category and which movement skills it develops.
