COURSE CHARACTERISTICS The course is designed to develop speaking skills essential for a teacher – cultured speach. At the same time, language knowledge specific for the given field will be fixed and deepened. The prerequisite for passing the course is good knowledge of general language minimally at B1.2SERRJ level.

Výuka je zaměřena na rozvoj řečové dovednosti, která je pro učitele, trenéry či cvičitele klíčová – kultivovaný mluvní projev. Současně budou upevňovány a prohlubovány jazykové znalosti specifické pro daný odborný jazyk. Předpokladem úspěšného zvládnutí kurzu je dobrá znalost obecného jazyka, minimálně na úrovni B1.1 SERRJ, resp. absolvování některého z kurzů PJAZ194.

Aim of the course

English

Attainment and consolidation of productive language activities and strategies in particular aimed at spoken language at the level B1.2 and development of lexical competencies at B2.1.

Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to:

• communicate fluently in English in the professional field of sport
• present specific topics in the field of sport in English
• lead physical education and sport activities and courses in English
• analyse and interpret a professional text in English in the field of physical education and sport

Osvojení a upevnění produktivních činností a strategií zaměřených především na ústní projev na úrovni B 1.2 a rozvoj lexikální kompetence na úrevni B 2.1.

Studující budou po absolvování kurzu schopni:

• plyně komunikovat v anglickém jazyce v odborné oblasti sportu
• prezentovat specifická témata v oblasti sportu v anglickém jazyce
• v anglickém jazyce vést tělovýchovné a sportovní aktivity a kurzy

Requirements to the exam

English

Regular class attendance . Four absences per semester are tolerated. In case of 5th and 6th absence students are required to submit work assigned by the teacher. 7 and more absences do not meet the basic reguirements for being granted credit.
These rules do not apply to students with individual study plans.

During the semester students are required to write and present a speech ( appr. 10 min.) based on authentic specialised literature in English/German.
A warm up without apparatuses - written preparation, 6 exercises - presentation in class

* Požadavky na zápočet

- Pravidelná docházka do výuky. Tolerovány jsou 4 absence za semestr. Za 5. a 6. nepřítomnost učitel studentovi přidělí náhradní práci podle vlastního uvážení. 7 absencí a více se rovná nesplnění zápočtových požadavků. Výjimkou je individuální studijní plán.
- V průběhu semestru písemné zpracování vybraného tématu a jeho ústní prezentace (cca 10 min.; písemná příprava na základě studia odborné literatury v anglickém originále).
