Předmět rozšiřuje teoretické znalosti a profesní dovednosti studentů sportovní specializace v gymnastických
sportech. Podává souhrnný přehled o současném výzkumu a používaných metodách v oblasti gymnastických
sportů. Pozornost je především věnována aplikovanému výzkumu ve vztahu k dílčím charakteristikám výkonu v
gymnastických sportech.

The aim of the course is to provide students with advanced knowledge and skills in the methodology of research focused on various aspects of sports training and performance in gymnastic sports. Throughout the course, students will become familiar with different methodological approaches to both quantitative and qualitative research, including the specifics of data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, ethical aspects of research, and the ability to present and communicate research results.
Upon completing the course, students will:
Have basic knowledge of theoretical concepts and principles of research in the field of gymnastic sports.
Be oriented in fundamental research methods, modes, and strategies of data collection, data analysis, and interpretation used in research focused on various aspects of training and performance characteristics in gymnastic sports.
Gain practical experience and skills in interpreting research results, including proposing outputs for practice development.
Be able to describe and explain, with examples, the ethical aspects of research in gymnastic sports.

Cílem předmětu je studentům poskytnout rozšiřující znalosti a dovednosti z oblasti metodologie výzkumu orientovaného na různé aspekty sportovního tréninku a výkonu v gymnastických sportech. Studenti budou v průběhu kurzu seznámeni s odlišnými metodologickými přístupy kvantitativních i kvalitativních výzkumů zahrnující rovněž specifiky sběru, analýzy a interpretace dat. Důraz je kladem na kritické myšlení, etické aspekty výzkumu a schopnost prezentovat a komunikovat výsledky výzkumů.
Po absolvování předmětu studenti:
mají základní znalosti teoretických konceptů a principů výzkumné práce v oblasti gymnastických sportů,
orientují se v základních výzkumných metodách, způsobech a strategiích sběru dat, analýzy dat a jejich interpretace používaných v oblasti výzkumu orientovaného na různé aspekty tréninku a charakteristik výkonu v gymnastických sportech,
získají praktické zkušenosti a dovednosti s interpretací výsledků výzkumu, včetně návrhů výstupů pro rozvoj praxe,
dokáží popsat a na příkladech vysvětlit etické aspekty výzkumu v gymnastických sportech.

1-7. Contents of individual seminars are logically connected to the topics covered in the lectures. Students present the results of processing their final theses, gain practical experience with the use of selected data collection methods; processing and evaluating data, including work focused on the analysis of exercise techniques.

1. Stručný úvod do metodologie, základní výzkumná paradigmata - kvantitativní a kvalitativní výzkum. Příklady z oblasti gymnastických sportů
2. Přehled dosavadních výzkumů v gymnastických sportech. Typy výzkumných metod. Databáze a časopisy.
3. Psaní vědeckého textu. Struktura vědecké práce.
4. - 6. Výzkumné metody pro diagnostiku vybraných činitelů podmiňující výkon v gymnastických sportech - somatické, funkční, pedagogicko-didaktické, fyzikální, pravidla. Reliabilita hodnocení gymnastických výkonů, kritický rozdíl, normování výsledků.
7. Metody diagnostiky techniky realizace gymnastických dovedností.
Semináře:
1. -7. Obsahy jednotlivých seminářů věcně navazují na probraná témata v přednáškách. Studenti prezentují dosavadní výsledky zpracování závěrečných prací, v praxi se seznamují s využívání vybraných metod sběru; zpracování a vyhodnocování dat včetně práce zaměřené na analýzu techniky cvičení.
