Annotation -
Teaching in the subject follows the teaching in the subject "Practice in clinical facilities V". Students continue in practical training in outpatient and inpatient areas of rehabilitation departments, and in other inpatient departments where, under the direct supervision of a physiotherapist (lecturer) or physician, they perform and improve their investigative and therapeutic procedures from the perspective of physiotherapy for patients in the department. Teaching is aimed at further improving the knowledge and skills that include comprehensive physiotherapy - ie preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Aim of the course

Learning Outcomes:

The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and general competencies so that after the completion of the course the students:

demonstrates knowledge in working with medical records

demonstrates knowledge of the principles of teamwork

demonstrates the ability to communicate with a physiotherapist and other members of the medical team

demonstrates the ability to examine the patient from the point of view of a physiotherapist to the extent given by the syllabus of the bachelor's study

demonstrates the ability to apply physiotherapeutic approaches according to the syllabus of the bachelor's study

demonstrates the ability to evaluate the effect of applied procedures

demonstrates the ability to develop protocols on the course of the therapeutic process

demonstrates further improvement of knowledge and skills, which includes comprehensive physiotherapeutic care - ie preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

The course is focused on:

1. Individual guidance of the patient during examination and therapy (under the guidance of the teacher)

2. Independent examination of the complete kinesiology examination

3. Setting short and long term rehabilitation plans

4. Advanced therapy prosecuting of all learned techniques

5. Setting autotherapy

6. Application prevention program

7. Processing patient documentation (reports) for diagnostics and therapy
