Students will acquire knowledge about the complete structure of the human body (tissues, organs, organ systems) with a greater focus on the musculoskeletal system and motion control. Teaching will focus mainly on the practical use of knowledge in ordinary sports practice.

The aim of the course is to provide students with a basic knowledge of the anatomy and kinesiology of the human body.

The student knows

  • Planes, orientation, nomenclature
  • Basics of cytology, histology, osteology and myology
  • Basic organ systems
  • Basics of angiology


The student will be able to distinguish and define

  • Muscles of the body segments and their function
  • Peripheral and central nervous system (spinal cord, cerebellum, spinal tracts, brain stem, sensory system, etc.)
  • Heart and vascular system
  • Respiratory system, including the mechanics of breathing
  • Digestive system
  • Urogenital system
