Subject is focused into specific areas of the didactic means and possibilites of specific types of teaching resources, known as a instructional technology or technical educational means . Its mission is to equip students with appropriate knowledge and competencies that they with their didactic knowledge from approbation fields applied in their teaching practice. The aim of subject is to acquaint students with contemporary technical means used in the education, respectively complexes, especially with interactive devices, with their basic technological characteristics, educational potential, ways of functional implementation and use of its potential in education. Thematically is the course focuses on the basic constructs of the terminology of didactic means, issues of development and implementation of teaching materials, teaching aids, respectively digital learning objects, educational aspects and the role of technical didactic means and on specific parameters of chosen contemporary technical didactic means. Considered here is mainly the area of projection equipment and presentation systems and interactive techniques, respectively. interactive whiteboards.

Výuka předmětu bude probíhat hybridně. Pokud to bude jen trochu možné, bude výuka probíhat prezenčně vzhledem k nutnosti práce s konkrétním hardwarem a softwarem. Vzhledem k současné situaci bude min. první setkáníprobíhat online prostřednictvím MS Teams. Studentky a studenti před samotnou výukou dostanou prostřednictvím SIS přístup k LMS Moodle na https://moodle.it.pedf.cuni.cz/. V konkrétním kurzu je pak hned v prvním tématu umístěn odkaz na online setkání. Výuka bude probíhat v době stanovené v rozvrhu s obsahem a podmínkami zveřejněnými v SIS.

Thematically, the course is focused on:

  • Technical means in education, basic terminological constructs of the field (interaction, interactivity)
  • Didactic aspects and functions of technical teaching aids
  • Didactic specifics of technical means in education
  • Interactive technology (interactive whiteboards, panels, carpets)
  • Means for providing feedback when working with interactive whiteboards, panels or carpets
  • Educational environment, didactic materials and possibilities of creating digital teaching materials
  • introduction of tools, applications and programs for DUM processing (eg SmartNotebook, Activ Inspire, Microsoft Whiteboard)

The main orientation of the topics relates to:

  • Interactive whiteboards and large touchpads, usage options, software support
  • Principles and ways of working with interactive whiteboards
  • Creating learning objects for presentation on an interactive whiteboard
Course completion requirements -

Completion of the course is based on:

- on the portfolio of continuously fulfilled tasks assigned during the semester through the Moodle course,
- final work created and methodically processed digital learning object for interactive devices / interactive whiteboard or panel (developed within the seminar at the end of the semester)
- final work dealing with a selected theoretical topic in the field of mobile touch devices (the only work processed outside the classroom, approx. 2 mns.).

In the event that there is again a transition from full-time teaching to distance learning in connection with the measures taken, the teaching will be carried out online at the time of standard scheduled teaching through the application MS Teams. At the same time, distance learning and teaching-related communication in the Moodle environment will be strengthened. Students should participate in such adapted teaching in the same active way as in the case of regular teaching.
