The course introduces students to the current problems of nutrition and its influence on human health. It presents nutrition as a complex of biological and social factors that penetrate the whole life of man. It monitors the influence of nutrition on physical and mental health and the development of human nutritional behavior. The subject also deals with nutritional needs of selected population groups. Part of the subject is also devoted to communication between the client and the consultant.
