This course focuses on the development and teaching of intercultural communication competence (ICC) of future English teachers. It develops individual dimensions of students' IKK, namely the dimensions of awareness, attitudes, skills, knowledge and foreign language communication competence, with specific attention to the culture of English-speaking countries.

Tento studijní předmět je zaměřen na rozvoj a didaktizaci interkulturní komunikační kompetence (IKK) budoucích učitelů anglického jazyka. Rozvíjí jednotlivé dimenze IKK studentů, a to dimenzi povědomí, postojů, dovedností, znalostí i cizojazyčné komunikační kompetence, a to se specifickou pozorností vůči kulturám anglicky mluvících zemí.

Cílem předmětu je seznámit studenty s konceptem interkulturní komunikační kompetence (IKK) ve vzdělávacím kontextu, především v kontextu výuky anglického jazyka. Cílem předmětu je i rozvoj IKK studentů tak, aby pomohli přispět k tvoření multikulturní společnosti otevřené diverzitě.
