Physical Culture (TK) as a socio-cultural phenomenon, its place in the cultural development of humanity and changing roles in various socio-historical conditions. The development of physical culture in prehistoric, antiquity, medieval and modern times, with an emphasis on the period from the 19th to the 21st century in the world and in our country and on selected systems and organizations. Place of TC in the life of contemporary man and society. Issues of hypokinetic lifestyle, health-oriented fitness and psychological resilience, quality of life, health and lifestyle. TC and its subsystems - physical education, sport, exercise recreation and physical rehabilitation - their structure and functions in the TC system. Kinanthropology as a field of science and its structure.

Objective of the course - To introduce students to the theory of body culture, its structure, historical development and contemporary theoretical concept. Introduction to the system of basic concepts and their context.
