English

The aim of the course is to explore and aesthetically acquire the literary works of Johann Wolfgang Goethe and Friedrich Schiller, as well as their cultural and literary milieu. Emphasised will be development of communicative skills in relation to literary and cultural themes. The content of the course consists of the analysis and interpretation of selected poetic, prose and dramatic works by the listed authors according to the Recommended reading list, or the interests of the course participants. Reception and updating of some works will also be considered, e.g. Goethe's novel Die Leiden des jungen Werther, the drama Faust (Part 1), a selection of lyric works (especially ballads). From the works of Friedrich Schiller, for example, the dramas Kabale und Liebe and Die Räuber and selected ballads. Theoretical texts will also be reflected.

Kurz je zaměřen na je poznávání a estetické osvojování literárních děl Johanna Wolfganga Goetha a Friedricha Schillera, jakož i kulturního a literárního prostředí, v němž uvedení autoři působili. Důraz bude kladen na rozvíjení komunikativních dovedností ve vztahu k literárním a kulturním tématům. Obsah předmětu tvoří analýza a interpretace vybraných básnických, prozaických a dramatických děl uvedených autorů.Zohlední se rovněž recepce a aktualizace některých děl, např. od Goetha román Die Leiden des jungen Werther, drama Faust (1. díl), výběr z lyrické tvorby (zejména balady). Z díla Friedricha Schillera např. dramata Kabale und Liebe nebo Die Räuber a vybrané balady. Reflektovat se budou také texty teoretického charakteru.

Studující

• poznává a esteticky si osvojuje literární díla Johanna Wolfganga von Goetha a Friedricha Schillera,
• je obeznámen s kulturním a literárním prostředím, v němž uvedení autoři působili,
• rozvíjí komunikativní dovedností ve vztahu k literárním a kulturním tématům,
• rozšiřuje si slovní zásobu,
• aktualizuje témata v reprezentativních dílech z období Sturm und Drang a Weimarer Klassik.

Learning outcomes

Studující:

• umí analyticky a interpretačně pracovat s vybranými díly Goetha a Schillera,
• vysvětlí specifika lyrických, lyricko-epických, epických a dramatických literárních druhů a žánrů,
• představí významné reprezentanty německé literatury - Goetha a Schillera: život a dílo,
• vysvětlí na základě interpretce literárních děl charakteristické znaky odpovídající literární epochy,
• formuluje hlavní a vedlejší témata interpretovaných děl a objasní, v čem spočívá jejich nadčasovost.
