The course supplements and deepens the reading of the texts written by the authors studied in the course French Literature II (18th century). The focus will be put on the understanding of a French literary text - both from the linguistic and literary point of view. The readings will be chosen according to the texts dealt with during the courses French Literature II and French Literature within a Historical Context II, but the choice can be modified according to the students’ needs.

Výběrový literární seminář doplňuje a prohlubuje četbu děl studovaných autorů v předmětu Četba literárních textů II (francouzská literatura 18. století)a Francouzská literatura v historickém kontextu II. Práce v semináři se zaměří na porozumění francouzskému literárnímu textu, a to jak po stránce jazykové tak interpretační a literárněvědné. Zaměříme se na četbu dvou až tří významných literárních děl 18. století - např. Voltaire, "Candide"; Prévost, "Manon Lescaut"; J.-J. Rousseau, "Discours sur l´Inégalité...", Diderot "La religieuse". Výběr děl může být aktualizován a doplněn podle potřeb a požadavků zapsaných studentů.

Course completion requirements

Zápočet bude udělen na základně aktivní účasti v semináři, domácí přípravy a četby. V průběhu semináře studenti odevzdají několik dílčích písemných úkolů.
