Annotation

English

The course is interactive, practically oriented, aimed at students who take interest in using drama techniques in the English classroom. Dramatic playing, whether scripted or improvised, enables teachers to bring an unlimited number of situations into the classroom that their students can enter and act in. Drama-based techniques can thus promote active and holistic engagement of learners in the learning process. In the first few seminars, examples of drama-based techniques suitable for regular English classes will be shared, from short activities to full 45-minute lessons. In the second half of the semester, students will prepare and execute activities themselves.

Prakticky orientovaný, interaktivní seminář pro zájemce o využívání prvků z divadla a dramatické výchovy ve výuce anglického jazyka. Hra "jen jako", ať už podle scénáře či improvizovaná, dovoluje učitelům přinést do třídy nekonečné množství situací a prostředí, do nichž mohou žáci vstupovat jak za sebe, tak v nejrůznějších rolích. Tyto prostředky podněcují aktivní a celostní zapojení žáků do vyučovacího procesu. V prvních několika seminářích si ukážeme příklady vhodných postupů využitelných v běžné výuce, od kratičkých aktivit po ukázky provázaných 45-minutových lekcí. Ve druhé polovině semestru pak budou aktivity připravovat a v seminárích realizovat sami účastníci.
