The school and its surroundings should be a place for health life including a movement. There are important conditions which enable the moovement in everyday life and support it. Movement is important mainly in childhood. Therefore it is important to make conditions for health life and enough movement in schools and their surroundings. The subject emphasizes these needs and conditions and gives students teoretical information and supply them with practical skills for their own projects.
