The main aim of this module is to allow the students the basic orientation in the discipline and to comprehend its particularity in the relation with other aesthetic-educational subjects. Drama education leads to the global cultivation of the students, development of their creativity and empathy, deepening their ability to communicate and cooperate in a group and gaining abilities to express themselves by both a word and a movement.

The contents is grounded in the fact that drama education is the most complex discipline of aesthetic education, which uses means and techniques of dramatic art. The heart of drama education is the process of learning mainly by direct and one?s own experience through the action during which participants gain the life experience by looking for a solution to a problem (situation) not only by their intellect but also by their intuition with involvement of the body and emotions.
