Annotation -
The subject is focused on progresses in the process of individualizing the learning and teaching pupils with special educational needs and prepares for creating individual educational plan as a document and guide for the implementation of support measures in cooperation with subject teachers, parents and pupil's assistants.

The course covers the following topics:

  1. History of creating individual educational programs and plans.
  2. Legislative regulations, pedagogical and special educational diagnostics.
  3. The share of special educational centre and educational and psychological counselling in the reation of individual educational plans.
  4. Methodology of individual educational plan creation, records of dealing with a pupil and pupil's legal representative.
  5. Recommended structure of individual educational plan.
  6. The basic terminology of the issue of individual educational plans for people with health disadvantages, principles for elaboration.
  7. Examples of individual educational plans according to the type of school and their analysis, experience from the Czech republic and abroad.
  8. Individualization and differentiation at school.
  9. Individualization and differentiation of educational procedures during the lesson. Projects for individualization and differentiation.
