Annotation -
The aim of the course is to provide student teachers with fundamental theoretical base of Computer Science/ Informatics/ Computing didactics focused on the needs and specifics of teaching of "Informatics" and on issues related to the development of digital competency across the curriculum in accordance with the revision of the RVP. The course contributes to the development of didactic thinking of student teachers in the context of the needs of fulfilling the goals of Computer Science / Informatics / Computing teaching and the development of digital competency in school practice at the lower and upper secondary schools. It builds on general pedagogical-psychological disciplines in teacher training. It emphasizes the systemic understanding of teaching, explains the application and integration concept of education in computer science and the formation of digital competency of pupils of basic and high schools. From a content point of view, the course focuses on shaping the idea of Computer Science /Informatics didactics as a branch didactics and as a scientific discipline (its subject of investigation, methods of investigation, problems to be solved, etc.). The starting point for didactic reflections on approaches to computer science teaching in school education are pedagogical concepts presented in the textbook SLAVÍK, J. a kol. (2020) Reflexe a hodnocení kvality výuky. ZČU : Plzeň, 2020. The course focuses on educational content and content transformation for teaching Computer Science / Informatics in our country and abroad, on the issue of educational goals and their specifics for „Informatics“, on teaching methods and organizational forms and their specifics for the needs of teaching Computer Science / Informatics and for the development of digital competency of pupils across the curriculum. The teaching is viewed as a working field for teacher reflection. Attention is also paid to the issue of students' acquisition of the informatics curriculum, and the related concept of preconceptions and misconceptions.
