Annotation -

The course of foreign excursions is designed to acquire competences in conducting excursions in general and at the same time allows to get acquainted with a specific excursion site (usually a National Park) abroad. The field trip concept clearly leads to practice in leading a full-day program on a foreign excursion, i.e., especially independent decision-making in planning. The course will be taught in both near and far abroad.This form of teaching is traditional at KBES and the teachers have years of experience. For the combined study, the foreign excursion will be handled identically to the presessional study. Thus, active participation and proper keeping of the excursion diary, or preparation of reports on local topics and their presentation during the excursion, as well as participation in the final seminar ending the excursion are important.
