The aim of the course is to introduce current issues influence of nutrition on human health. Submitted by nutritionists as a complex biological and social factors that permeates the life of man. Monitors the impact of nutrition on physical and mental health and development of nutritional behavior. The course also addresses the nutritional needs of the targeted groups. Part of the course is also devoted to communication between client and advisor.

The aim of the course is to inform about the current issue of the influence of diet on human health and specifics of  consulting activities in the field of nutrition.

The course-unit credit requirements: successful writing of the credit test - open and closed questions (min. 75%). It is possible to use 3 attemps for writing test - one regular, two corrective.

1. Basics of nutrition and nutritional parameters. 

2. Specific nutritional requirements of individual groups of people.

3. Food quality, nutritional value changes during technological processing.

4. Diseases resulting from improper nutrition.

5. Therapeutic nutrition in clinical practice. Formation of nutritional habits in children and adolescents, prevention of eating disorders as part of health education. Problems of alternative directions in nutrition.

6. Specifics expert advice and consulting in the field of nutrition.
