The subject is based on the concept of the family system. Presents the definition of marriage and family, the issue of influence of guide and procreative families, the basic typology of instrumental components partner / family life. It deals with the current family in the Czech Republic, family policy, with problem of extremely young marriage, family myths and disorders of family life.
Presented are the basic contours of family law and child protection. The attention
focuses on the functioning of the family, at-risk children in the family and children in especially difficult circumstances, comprehensive diagnostics (diagnostic tools) and early intervention (systém of state and non-state help to children and families with children).
