The aim of the course is to open to students basic methodological questions of comparative pedagogy and to lead them to acquire basic methods and approaches. The course is further specified in relation to pre-school education so that students can understand the comparison of conditions influencing the functioning of pre-school education in a given country, ie social, economic and political context. The aim of the course is to gain a deeper insight into the thematic areas, to determine the basic variables of the European trends in pre-school education and to formulate the basic postulates necessarily present in the reforms of the Czech pre-school education in the European context.
