The course introduces students to current issues of the educational system from the pre-primary to the tertiary level, to current pedagogical concepts that are reflected in the concept of the work of schools and school facilities, and to individual educational programs.

Course Objectives:

The learner will describe current changes in legislative regulations.
The student will analyze and evaluate the current national education strategy using theoretical knowledge.
The learner will demonstrate knowledge of the concept of education policy for regional education.
Learning Outcomes:

Learners will:

Using knowledge of educational processes in the school, evaluate issues in the framework and school curriculum.
The learner will propose possible approaches for the field of alternative education.
Demonstrate knowledge of the process of shaping the early childhood education system for contemporary kindergartens.
Using current research evidence, discuss issues of education outside the classroom and leisure opportunities.

Předmět má 2 kredity dle ECTS, celková časová zátěž studenta odpovídá 50 hodinám. Doba očekávané přípravy: samostudium literatury (za celý semestr) 10 hodin, práce se studijními materiály (za celý semestr) 20 hodin, plnění průběžných úkolů (za celý semestr) 10 hodin.  Příprava na zápočet 10 hodin.

The student, using the knowledge from the seminars, analyses according to the structure of the assignment in Moodle the Current National Strategy of Education in the Czech Republic until 2030 and prepares a written document for the credit colloquium.
