Theory: Art teacher training and research, educational action research as a qualitative, practical, participatory, reflective and concerned with changing school and visual culture environments. Schön´s notion of reflective practice and reflective pratitioner. Eisner´s synthesis of artistic and educationnnal research. Practice:Designing action research in art education. Practical guidelines: Turning initial ideas into action plan containig location, focus, participant group, general idea, reconnaissance, working hypothesis, action steps, technigues for gathering evidence, monitoring and reflecting on action, evaluation. Case studies recording, writing research reports.
